Young up and coming artist from South London. Meres started his journey first picking up a microphone at the age of five to perform a Jackson 5 song in front of his family and friends at a family members big birthday party. It was an early taste of live stage performance and audience response.

Meres was always creative and had good musicality from an early age, always singing along to music that was being played at home or in the car or just making up his own songs either accapella or along with a little keyboard in his room.
When Meres was fiifteen he began his journey into studios with various young engineers/producers where he started to develop his own interesting and original choice of style.

It was a good beginning with 2 releases under the name Ocapone ,with tracks 'Glass' and 'Hard to Love'
Things were going well.
It was fate that during the lockdown of 2020 that Meres decided to collaborate with his Uncle, Producer/Musician Tansay Omar.
